The Audi Company will present an open version of supercar R8 of new generation in New York Auto Show 2016.
According to spying images, by the British AutoExpress edition, in general the car will look nearly the same as the coupe of the same name.
The top of Spyder will be made of cloth, supplied with the electric drive. There are no information about how many seconds and what speed it can reach so far.
The only thing, what is known for today, is that the salon will be executed in stylistics of a co-platform coupe.The same as in closed version, the button of start will be located on a wheel, besides, the car will receive the Virtual Cockpit instrument panel from modern Audi cars.
The novelty will also inherit engines, gearbox and all-wheel drive from a coupe. It, in turn, received them from Lamborghini Huracan. The main will become V10 motor with a power of 540 hp., at top of gamma will be a V10 plus version with a power of 510 hp.
New Audi R8 Spyder will appear at market, approximately, at the beginning of this year.
