The Chinese edition Autohome published spy photos of the seven-seater Volkswagen crossover which, presumably, will receive the name Teramont. It is expected that the public premiere of a novelty will be in November on LA Auto Show.
According to the photos, Volkswagen Teramont will be constructed in stylistics of a conceptual off-road vehicle CrossBlue, which was presented at the beginning of 2013 on the Detroit Auto Show. The interior of a novelty will remind appearance of interior of the Tiguan crossover of the second generation.
The crossover will be made on the extended version of the modular MQB chassis, which is used for models with a cross arrangement of the engine. Petrol and diesel compressed air “fours”, and also the six-cylinder motor will be in a line of units.
Previously it was reported that the management of Volkswagen considered a possibility of release of one more seven-seater model. It has to be constructed on the basis of updated Amarok debuting in the spring. It is supposed that the big SUV, which will appear not earlier than in two years, will be equipped with the new three-liter diesel V6.
