In the next three years manufacturer from Ingolstadt will please their fans by three new off-road models – Q1, Q6 and Q8. The first novelty becomes compact Audi Q1. According to the head of Audi, Rupert Stadler, Q1 will be released on the market in 2016 and will be built on a shortened platform MQB. It is expected that the size crossover will be similar to the hatchback Audi A3. According to earlier reports, Audi Q1 will be equipped with an engine capacity from 100 to 260 horsepower.
Another car will be the all-electric crossover Audi Q6. This model should only appear at the end of 2017, but the network already has its first teaser news. The car will be guided by the concept of the Prologue, and technically built on a platform MLB. Powerplant for this crossover is likely to be the same system that is used on the Audi R8 e-tron, which allows to travel up 293 miles on a single charge.
Finally, the third novelty will be SUV Audi Q8. As in the case with a more compact Audi Q6, the basis for this crossover design concept lies Prologue. But the technical details of this new product has not yet announced. We only know that Audi Q8 will become more “sporty and emotional crossover” than the Q7.
